My wife was recently diagnosed with Ostearthritis and after exrays founf that the cartilage in her left hip is virtualy nonexistant. She has been in pain for a long time but attributed it to a condition that she was born with ( hip dysplasia ). We have been told that she will need a complete hip replacement and after consulting with our insurers it is considered a preexisting condition. We are unable to cover the costs for the operation and so are trying to find funding for the operation. If anyone knows of any trusts or organisations who give financial aid to people in this kind of situation we would be most appreciative of any information that anyone may have. Kind regards, Matthew Baumgardner
